The fields

In the order of the level the game's world map recommends for each, lowest first. Counts are the navigation table's; the server decides the real ones.

Champions. A name with a prefix is a champion: a stronger version of one of the field's own monsters, with a page of its own. There are five kinds in the game — Swift, Solid, Ringleader, Furious and Elusive — and the forest has four of them. In September 2023 the way some champions are summoned changed and their EXP was raised considerably. 2023 note The Eden Group's Diligent Sogil asks for two of the forest's: the Bigfoot Ringleader and the Solid Horn.

Nine of the eleven share one name in the game, Payon Forest, so the map code is what tells them apart. pay_fild04 is named Sograt Desert, though it is one of Payon's fields: the Poring family lives there, with its four bosses. The two newest have names of their own, Payon Snake Forest and Forest of the Giant Serpent.

Bosses

Eddga is the forest's MVP. The four on the Poring field are bosses of the Poring family, and the five Faceworm Queens — one per element — fill the Forest of the Giant Serpent. Level, element and race are the game's.

The two Faceworm fields

Faceworms first appeared in September 2019 inside the Faceworm Nest, a memorial dungeon for level 110 and above, set in "a field near ancient Payon". 2019 note In April 2025 the developers said its farming would move out of the instance: after clearing the dungeon's story once, players would enter "a special field associated with that MD" and hunt there for its equipment and materials, with no instance to create. 2025 note In September 2025 two open fields were added to the Payon region with the dungeon's monsters: 2025 note

• Payon Snake Forest (pay_fild11), for base level 110 and above: Faceworms, their larvae and eggs, and the dark ones.
• Forest of the Giant Serpent (pay_fild05), for base level 140 and above: the Faceworm Queens. With the field, the Queen went from an MVP to an ordinary mid-boss, and her card from an MVP card to an ordinary one.

The Eden Group's Payon representative, Payon Envoy Yangmin at moc_para01 51 31, explains both. 2025 note Two days after they opened, Teleport was enabled on both fields, the Queen's card stopped being announced server-wide when found, and it left the Boss Card Exchange Box. 2025 note A sentry in the Snake Forest gives hunting requests for it, and a singing serpent in the Giant Serpent's forest has the Bard's Song quests.

Getting there. Both are reached on foot. The game's navigation table joins the Snake Forest to pay_fild02 and pay_fild06, and the Forest of the Giant Serpent to pay_fild02 and to Morroc's moc_fild03. The dungeon itself is still entered where it always was, by the game's own tip: the Magic Scholar in the Dimensional Rift, at dali 80 60. Client

Who stands in the forest

The Forest Keepers arrived two weeks after launch, in December 2017, with the Payon region's first quests: Sena, Duri and Hana, one on each of three fields. 2017 note Their chain, the Forest Keeper's Wheel, passes from one to the next.

The Hunter Guild. Hunters, and Snipers after them, change jobs with Hunter Allan inside the Hunter Guild, and the way in is the guild member standing in the forest at pay_fild10 148 252. 2018 note 2018 note

A dimensional gate stands at pay_fild06 200 200 during the Spring Flower Festival, with no level limit. 2026 note
