The floors

Top to bottom. Counts are the navigation table's; the server decides the real ones. A name with a prefix — Furious, Swift, Ringleader — is that monster's champion.

Undead fill the first three floors: Zombies and Skeletons at the top, Soldier and Archer Skeletons below them, then Munak and Bongun. The Ruined Village begins on the fourth floor, which is almost all Sohee, and the fifth holds Dokebi, Horong, Nine Tails and the MVP. Nine Tails were taken off the third floor in June 2024. 2024 note

• 1 ? Reno pay_dun00 155, 174 On the first floor: two of the well’s quests lead to him.

Reno is on the first floor, at pay_dun00 155 174. The game's files stopped listing him there, but a play session recorded on 1 October 2026 found him in place, taking in the quest The Smelly, Slippery Ghost; the quest before it, Found One, Missing One, sends you to the same spot. Observed In January 2018 a notice already spoke of "rescuing Reno in Payon Cave". 2018 note

From the well to the cave

The cave's quests open in town. The old man by Payon's well gives Liquor in the Bucket, then Grandson's Whereabouts; finishing the second opens the rest. A guard at the cave mouth in Archer Village recruits against the undead inside, at level 15, Client and another wants a purification rite held, at level 50. Client The Wandering Monk and the Notice inside the cave give theirs once the grandson is found, and Payon's Young Scholar, who is studying what once happened in the Ruined Village, follows on from the Monk's. The Illusion of Moonlight

On the fourth floor, at pay_dun03 140 46, a Shimmering Space leads into the Illusion of Moonlight: a place that is the Ruined Village and yet is not, as its post puts it. It opened in December 2020 for level 100 and above, built for growing from 100 to 120, 2020 note and is reached by a quest that starts with Payon Elder Sanyul in town — see the Payon guide. 2020 note A harder version came in May 2023, entered at the same spot by characters of level 150 and above who have finished the Illusion's main quest. 2023 note

Episode 1 on the first floor

Episode 1's opening chain sends a new adventurer to find "the hidden place on Payon Cave Floor 1": an unidentified sword, and the silver-haired beauty who appears when it is drawn. 2021 note The sword and the beauty stand on separate maps made for the story (pay_dc02), not on the cave's own floors.
