First, we sincerely apologize for the delay in providing additional information regarding the super accounts and illegal program activity that has been spreading through the community.
Following the notice provided on December 18th regarding Ragnarok Online, we would like to provide additional information below regarding the follow-up progress and matters that many customers have recently been curious about.
First, regarding the matter of super accounts.
As previously announced in the December 18, 2020 notice, no unusual findings have been confirmed regarding this matter.
The management of in-game accounts and permissions is an ongoing process, and no issues have occurred; furthermore, no unusual findings were confirmed even through the full investigation conducted due to the recent issue.
Additionally, regarding in-game item creation and management, we are closely managing the matter not only through internal investigation and management but also through audits with external companies to prevent any issues from occurring.
Nevertheless, if you suspect any illegal activity by internal staff while playing the game, please report it to us through a 1:1 inquiry.
Also, regarding the so-called 'gold farming' (bot farm) issue that many customers have recently expressed concern about, as previously announced, we would like to inform you that legal proceedings for this matter are currently underway, and the case has been transferred to the police and is under investigation.
Gravity is responding strongly to illegal activities within the game, including bot farming, and we ask for your understanding that we are doing our best to ensure that all customers using the game do not suffer unjust harm.
Second, regarding matters related to Ragnarok Zero updates.
We fully understand the feedback that customers have left regarding Ragnarok Zero updates.
Internal discussions on this matter are continuously taking place; however, because a different system is applied compared to Ragnarok Online, new development must be carried out in parallel with the overall basic update schedule, which is causing development time to be required.
Even though development time is required, we sincerely apologize for the disappointment this has caused to everyone playing the game.
We are currently preparing various events and promotions to activate the Ragnarok Zero servers.
Regarding matters planned for 2021, we will do our best to inform you as quickly as possible through separate developer notes and other channels.
Lastly, we would like to talk about strengthening communication with our customers.
Many customers have recently mentioned that communication has been lacking, and as the person in charge, I would like to apologize that this has been lacking compared to the past.
The offline meetups held in the past will not be possible under the current Social Distancing Level 2.5, but in 2021, we plan to communicate with customers through various methods.
We will prepare various communication channels, including online meetups, to get closer to our customers.
In 2021, we will prioritize communication with our customers above all else and strive to show results that will satisfy you as much as possible.
