For this Ragnarok Zero test, we have made various preparations so that many users can enjoy their adventures even more. Today, we would like to talk about the currently ongoing Ragnarok Zero test.
1. System
Ragnarok Zero uses the post-Renewal status system. Under the pre-Renewal status system, the effect of a single stat point was very high, which lowered the necessity for equipment farming or caused extreme performance gaps depending on stat points. We judged that the post-Renewal status system was more suitable than the pre-Renewal one for adding random options and various equipment, maximizing the fun of farming rather than gear setups based on gacha-type products, and for future global events, in line with the direction Ragnarok Zero is aiming for. Indeed, among the Ragnarok Online services around the world, all servers capable of continuous update support are using the post-Renewal status system. (e.g. Thailand, US, Philippines Restart servers)
However, there are some changes to elements outside of the status system. The amount of defense increase according to armor refine level has increased about 3 times compared to before, the values of resistance based on stats have been changed, and there have been changes to the party equal distribution system as well as adjustments to the EXP and drop rate penalties for level differences. Also, the global cooldown of skills has been limited to a maximum of 0.3 seconds, and the amount of global cooldown reduced has been added to the skill's individual cooldown, resulting in a gameplay change that requires combining a wider variety of skills compared to before. You will be able to feel these skill changes starting with the 2nd job classes to be updated in January 2018.
2. Quest Structure Changes
In Ragnarok Zero, hunting is done as a means of farming, and we have prepared a new system to make leveling up easier through various quests.
1) Quest Reward Overhaul
In Ragnarok Zero, a system has been added that provides quest reward EXP as a certain percentage of the EXP required at a specific level range. Because of this, continuing to do various quests allows you to easily gain a large amount of EXP, and we have also prepared various quest reward items, including highly effective consumable items. Accordingly, in Ragnarok Zero, the speed and efficiency of leveling up will vary depending on how many quests you complete and how efficiently you do so.

2) Tip Box Information Overhaul
In Ragnarok Zero, the Tip Box provides a wider variety of quest information. In the world of Ragnarok Online, there are countless quests aside from Episode quests, and we aim for a quest structure where players can freely enjoy quests while adventuring across the continent of Midgard. The Tip Box will support searching for and starting such quests more conveniently.

3) Quest UI Changes and Some Internal Quest Structure Changes
The Quest UI has been improved and various features have been added. In Ragnarok Zero, the internal restructuring of each quest has been carried out. Based on this, changes to the Quest UI have become possible, and many features have been developed and added to provide more diverse information.
If you don't know where to go while progressing a quest, open the Quest Window (ALT + U) and click on the linked text. The navigation will guide you as much as possible.
Also, various work is underway for quests created in the past, such as the Geffenia entry quest and the Kiel Hyre Academy entry quest, including internal restructuring or newly created content to lower the difficulty. These will be updated sequentially.

3. Monetization System
Ragnarok Zero, like Ragnarok Online, operates on a free-to-play service model.
This is to allow even more Ragnarok users to enjoy the game.
Additionally, in Ragnarok Zero, we plan to sell monthly subscription Account Premium services and Character Premium services, and we will bring changes to the monetization system by introducing a new currency called "
Gel Star."

Account Package**
The monthly subscription Account Premium service increases EXP, drop rate, reduces death penalty, and increases storage capacity. When purchased, this service applies to all characters on the account.

The Essential Package is a Character Premium service that adds convenience to gameplay.
This product provides a 20% increase in EXP and drop rate, along with a limited daily supply of 10 [
Yggdrasil Dew] items that have some of the functions of Gel Star.
(Note that whenever Yggdrasil Dew is reissued, any remaining Yggdrasil Dew will be reclaimed.)
You can use Yggdrasil Dew to conveniently use the world map movement service or receive special buffs.
3) Character Premium Service: 
Hunting Package
The Hunting Package is a Character Premium package that provides a 50% EXP increase and 100% drop rate increase effect, usable twice a day for 1 hour each.
Since Ragnarok Zero does not sell the effects of the previous 
Battle Manual or 
Bubble Gum as separate items, nor are they easily obtainable, this is a very attractive premium product for users who want to level up quickly.
4) About PC Room Premium Service
Let us tell you about the PC Room Premium service. In Ragnarok Zero, the PC Room Premium service no longer provides EXP and drop rate bonuses, death penalty reduction, or buff-type effects like in the past.
The main effects have been merged into the "Essential Package," and PC Rooms will only provide "PC Room Mileage."
Through "PC Room Mileage," you can exchange for 
Special Tool Box Coupons and 
Costume Headgear Exchange Coupons for use.

4. Fever Field
In Ragnarok Zero, there are "Fever Fields" where monsters stronger than normal monsters are stationed.
More powerful monsters inhabit these fields. Although the difficulty is high, they drop Fever Field-exclusive equipment with better random options, and you can also obtain 
Mythril Ore, an essential material for various equipment combinations, making this a field with great advantages.

5. Item Farming Structure
1) Random Options
In Ragnarok Zero, random options are granted to dropped equipment, allowing for the configuration of various item option setups. However, currently, the high degree of freedom in random options has resulted in some options being granted that don't fit the weapon type, and we are adjusting this so that more specialized options can be granted for melee, ranged, and magic weapons. Also, there are certain options, such as HP/SP absorption and fixed cast time -X second reduction, that are excluded from random options and all equipment in the game. This is for the sake of synergy between classes in the game, as Ragnarok Zero aims for close cooperative party play between classes.
2) Specialized Equipment Upgrades
Currently, you can obtain job-specialized armor-type equipment from Memorial Dungeons. These items start as basic Level 60 equipment, and can gradually be upgraded to Stage 1 Level 70 equipment using material items obtained by playing Memorial Dungeons, and in the same way, will be upgradable to Stage 2 Level 80 equipment.

3) Advanced Equipment Crafting
Equipment with various advanced options will be provided in a form where you gather crafting recipes or materials through various in-game content, and then craft the item using those materials along with an NPC.
Mithril is a very important item used in various combinations, and must be gathered through various methods such as playing Fever Fields and Memorial Dungeons.

6. Master of Ore, Thor's Flame
Near each refining NPC, a blazing red Thor's Flame has been added.
Thor's Flame can randomly transform various ores into other ores, and can upgrade normal refining stones into special refining stones in exchange for Zeny or Gel Star.
It also provides the function of refining Mythril Ore, obtainable from Fever Fields and Memorial Dungeons, into Mithril, and can craft the essential refining item "
Blacksmith Blessing" using various special refining stones, Mithril, and Zeny.
Using Thor's Flame will allow you to use the refining system much more conveniently.
