Hello.
Ragnarok Zero adventurers, this is the RO1 Studio Zero Team.
We hope this year will be filled with happiness alongside Ragnarok Zero as well,
and we would like to inform you about the content updates planned for Q1 2025.
1. Growth Section Overhaul
On December 4th of last year, the max level was expanded from 170 to 230, and 3rd classes were updated.
As the max level has expanded, the time required to grow a character from the early stages has significantly increased, and the gap with lower-level characters has widened, becoming a factor that raises the entry barrier for Ragnarok Zero.
To address this, the Zero Team aims to carry out the following overhaul with the goal of smoother growth and early-to-mid game equipment supply.
1) The level range targeted for this overhaul is levels 1-150. 2) The experience required to level up will be slightly reduced overall, and the experience in the 80-120 range, which was a notoriously stagnant section, will be intensively eased. 3) Monsters in some regions will be rebalanced, significantly reducing their HP and adjusting the experience granted proportionally. 4) Monster DEX and AGI will be adjusted, slightly easing hit rate and evasion conditions for physical classes. 5) The difficulty of some level 150 party dungeons will be adjusted to a level where solo play is possible.
The core of the Growth Section Overhaul is to make the growth experience more enjoyable through 'fast leveling and farming equipment through hunting.'
The Growth Section Overhaul will continue to be carried out going forward.
2. New Episode: [Frozen Half Moon]
Following [Episode 3-1: Voice of the Goddess], [Episode 3-2: Frozen Half Moon] will be updated.
An ominous energy begins to swirl in the Ice Cave, a dangerous area in northern Rachel.
A forgotten legend is revived as a present-day danger, threatening Rachel.
Join Shigrun to save Rachel.
Along with the Episode 3-2 update, the Rachel Ice Abyss dungeon will be updated.

Hm? Aren't you an adventurer? What business do you have here?
<What kind of scheme is Valkyrie Axel plotting?>
3. 3rd Class Skill Balance Adjustments
Balance adjustments will be made to some skills of the 3rd job classes.
1) Balance between characters will be adjusted through coefficient adjustments of some attack skills. 2) Usability will be improved through casting time and cooldown adjustments. 3) Usability of buff and trap skills will be improved. 4) NPCs will temporarily sell the catalyst items needed for skill use.
For 3rd class skills, rather than boosting skill performance through specific options on specific equipment, we aim to primarily balance characters through the skills themselves. To this end, the attack power coefficients of some skills will be adjusted.
Also, skill cooldowns were set up so that players could use various skills in combination rather than relying on a single skill, but we plan to improve usability by adjusting the casting times and cooldowns that have been restricting use.
For some skills, the materials needed for skill use must be obtained through item farming, but since supply has been difficult, we plan to temporarily support NPCs that sell some of these items.
Beyond 3rd class skills, skill balance adjustments including expanded classes will continue to be carried out, and detailed information on the Q1 3rd class skill balance adjustments will be provided through additional announcements.
4. Illusion Content Improvements
Some inconvenient elements of content such as Illusion Enchants will be improved.
1) Illusion Enchants will be changed to an enchant UI method.
2) The first stage enchant will be a guaranteed enchant, applying the selected enchant with 100% certainty.
3) When upgrading an enchant, the downgrade will only drop by 1 stage even without using a
Gel Star.
4) The Illusion Helm exchange method will be changed to an upgrade method.
5) When upgrading a helm, only the refine level will be reset, while cards and enchants will remain intact.
Along with the changes to the Illusion Enchant and exchange method, the Illusion areas will be included in the Growth Section Overhaul, and content improvements will be carried out together.
5. Episode 3-1 Improvements
Along with the Episode 3-2 update, improvements to the Episode 3-1 areas will be carried out.
The Oz Dungeon and Wolf Field monsters will be adjusted, and an entry level requirement will be added to the Oz Dungeon, making it impossible to enter via
World Tour Ticket.
The above contents are still under development, so the details may change upon actual update.
Please refer to the official website's notice board for detailed information when the update is released.
Thank you.
